Karin Goettsch, Ph.D.

Principal, Global Collaboration Insights

Drawing on my extensive internal and external management experience with organizations across many industries and sectors (specializing in corporate and higher education), I partner with leaders to design and implement strategic talent development solutions that engage all levels. My clients recognize the value in my unique perspectives aligning theory and practice, in bridging industry, higher education and professional outreach by establishing broad networks and cross-discipline partnerships.

I offer leaders and their teams a holistic, strengths-based development focus that is grounded in both research and best practices in leadership, communication studies and positive psychology. As an executive and leadership coach, I challenge my clients to reflect on powerful questions, gain self-awareness to clearly articulate their vision and goals, and take compelling action to move forward.

To further facilitate learning agility and collaboration across boundaries, as a consultant I lead customized and engaging group sessions on leadership, high-performing virtual teams, cultural and emotional intelligence, business communication skills, strategic planning and other essential capabilities that accelerate people development and potential.

In addition to serving as adjunct faculty at two universities, I’m frequently invited to present my recognized Ph.D. work on global virtual team collaboration and other research at national and international conferences.

Carrying forward my ongoing commitment to continuous learning, I also serve on the Board of Directors and the Development and HR Committees of Literacy Minnesota to advocate for education and literacy to empower the underserved talent in our communities.

Leveraging my diverse insights from this unique breadth and depth of experience, I guide my clients to solve their leadership and individual development puzzles by navigating the complexities of collaboration and communication and by creating inspired opportunities.
